Tim Dieckhaus of TRD Construction was born with a hammer in his hand. Mainly a carpenter by trade, his construction experience started while working alongside his father as a teen building decks, basements and kitchens then moving on to work for his brother's construction  company building residential homes and condominums during the 80's boom years. It was during this high speed, high knowledge and physically demanding time where most of his skills were honed. All of this while attending Kutztown University earning a bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1987.

His first job out of college was working for a regional real estate firm in their property management division where he helped to manage the company's commercial properties along with residential properties managed on a fee basis.

Although much was learned mostly in the "people skills" area, the challenges of the job just did not satisfy him. Most of the time there was no sense of completion, no sense of starting a job and then finishing it to perfection - an aspect of a career he longed for.

It was then a decision was made to leave the company in 1991 after 2 years with the firm.

Briefly he returned to work for his brother's construction firm then moving on to several Main Line home remodelers, all the while gaining more knowldedge in both the "new construction" and "home remodeling" fields.

It was a combination of all the experience gained from father to brother to college to other remodelers that he decided to take a more independent approach to his career and take on construction projects on his own.

Today TRD Construction Company, LLC is a full service home remodeling company operating out of Phoenixville Pennslyvania. Our approach to construction is carefully listening to our clients, making suggestions as needed then communicating their construction needs and ideas back to them in the form of carefully thought out written quotes and drawings.When a quote is accepted, each job is personally managed by Tim Dieckhaus where he takes the time to walk the client through the construction process from beginning to end.
